Our Return Policy

The Miami Corporation owns the website tempotesthome.com. Throughout the site, the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to The Miami Corporation. Using this website, you agree to abide by our Terms of Service ("Terms").

Returns

1. All items being returned to Miami Corp for credit must have a Miami Corp-issued RMA number, which must be fully visible on the outside of the package. Any item sent to us without a visible and valid RMA number will be refused.
2. To obtain an RMA number, please get in touch with our Customer Service Department by phone at 800-543-0448 or through our Contact Us page. Please have your account number and invoice number ready.
3. For proper consideration, credit items must be returned in their original packaging along with all manufacturer's manuals and warranty cards.
4. The Miami Corporation reserves the right to refuse returns, charge restocking fees, and impose return freight fees at our discretion.

Some of the factors used to determine the credit amount given are:

1. Special order/custom manufactured items, unless defective, are not returnable
2. Marked or cut material
3. Item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
4. Item that has signs of use
5. Item not in its original packaging
6. Item that has been opened
7. Item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts
8. Item returned for a color match but matched our master sample

Labor Credit

Any labor credit pursued must be requested by the original purchaser at the time of RMA issuance. Miami Corporation will issue labor credit to the original purchaser IF AND ONLY IF the manufacturer or supplier of the item has agreed to cover labor for the item in question. This credit is issued after the item is returned to the manufacturer, the manufacturer has agreed to cover a labor credit, and the Miami Corporation has received labor credit. We will only issue labor credits in the amount that the manufacturer or supplier issued. Labor credits will be processed as account credits instead of being issued as a check or credit card refund.  

Miami Corporation Complete Warranty

THE MIAMI CORPORATION ("MIAMI CORP.”)  IS A DISTRIBUTOR OF PRODUCTS AND DOES NOT MANUFACTURE THEM.  ANY WARRANTY COVERING SUCH PRODUCTS IS SUPPLIED BY THE MANUFACTURER.  MIAMI CORP. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR SUITABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE, OR OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, OR THAT ANY AFFIRMATION OF FACT OR PROMISE IS MADE BY MIAMI CORP. CONCERNING THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS.  BUYER WITH THIS WAIVES ALL OTHER CLAIMS AGAINST MIAMI CORP. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MIAMI CORP. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LABOR, LOST TIME, LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES OR EXPENSES, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, FABRICATION, DISTRIBUTION, SALE, HANDLING, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE, OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE RELATING TO IT, AND MIAMI CORP.'S LIABILITY, IN ANY CASE, IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO, AT MIAMI CORP.'S SOLE ELECTION, THE REPLACEMENT OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, OR TO PROVIDE A REFUND TO BUYER WITH AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE COST OF THE MATERIAL ONLY.  CLAIMS AGAINST MIAMI CORP. WAIVED BY THE BUYER INCLUDE ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CLAIM, OR SUIT ASSERTING ANY LEGAL, EQUITABLE, AND/OR ADMIRALTY OR MARITIME CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INDEMNITY OR CONTRACT, CONTRIBUTION, OR SUBROGATION) RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF THE PERFORMANCE OR NONPERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTS, OR THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, FABRICATION, DISTRIBUTION, SALE, HANDLING, INSTALLATION OR MAINTENANCE OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS.

Late or Missing Refunds

Please understand that we issue refunds once your refund request is approved, meaning the money leaves our account immediately. If you are still waiting for a refund, recheck your bank account first. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. We have seen some credit card companies take up to 30 days to show that the refund has been returned to the card. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.

Can You Provide Me With A Tracking Number?

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped.

I've Entered the Wrong Shipping Address; Can I Change It?

If this happens to you, email us as soon as possible. We might be able to take care of it. However, we can't promise anything as all our items are usually processed immediately after you order and shipped out the same day or a few days after. If your order has already entered the shipping process, we won't be able to stop it.

We should not be responsible if you entered an incomplete and/or incorrect shipping address. Our system automatically processes orders and follows what you supplied.

Can I Cancel My Order After It Has Been Placed?

You have the option to cancel your order without a cancellation fee before it is processed and before the goods are cut and/or shipped. If you cancel your order after it has been processed and/or shipped, you will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee to cover restocking fees and credit card companies' refund charges.

Invalid Reasons:

1. The Buyer no longer wants the items—this is the most common example we cannot honor if we want to continue offering great value at the Miami Corporation. The Buyer should make sure they want to buy the items before submitting an order, not after. After an order is submitted, the Buyer enters into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase all items in that order.
2. The Buyer found items cheaper somewhere else. Before submitting an order, the Buyer should be confident that he or she is ready to pay the asking prices. After an order is submitted, the Buyer enters into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase all items in that order.
